Estimating Cycle times for Hole machining

Drilling operations are catered for by the Hole Machining Calculator. Once again all the basic data relating to material and cutting speeds are automatically taken from the main quote so only the dimensional data need be entered.

To make things even easier QuoteCam provides a Threads database that will automaticaly provide drilling diamter and thread pitch (or tpi) information. Counterbores and spotfaces can also be included.

All forms of hole machining operations are covered including pre-drilling, centre drilling, boring and even thread milling.

As with all the simulators its use is optional meaning that if you are confident with your own estimating abilities you may simply type in your own estimated time but if you need to be more precise the Hole Machining Estimator will accurately calculate the total cycle time for each operation.
